After Hours with Sylvanus Kwashie Kuwor & friends

Join us for an evening of Art, music and dancing with a West African flavour. 

Our exhibitions and bar will be open late so why not stop by for a drink, check out our exhibition We Face Forward and enjoy the sights and sounds of Sylvanus Kwashie Kuwor & friends. 

Sylvanus Kwashie Kuwor is a Ghanaian master drummer, dancer and general practitioner of a range of dance forms from the West African sub-region. Kwashie began his performing arts and cultural training from early childhood. As a graduate of the Ghanaian School of Performing Arts, University of Ghana, Kwashie has over the years proven to be an excellent performer of African dance and music; and a researcher/theoretician. Kwashie completed a Master of Arts Degree in Creative and Professional Writing at Brunel University, London, with a graduating thesis, titled, Dances in Eweland. He is currently on the prestigious Roehampton University Sacred Heart (RUSH) scholarship pursuing a PhD in Dance Anthropology. He also contributes to the World Music and Dance Course by teaching dances from the West African sub-region.
